Session 13 - Short Summary
This broad session will explore moist atmospheric processes in the Arctic water cycle and the interactions with aerosols based on models and/or observations. Topics include atmospheric water vapor, clouds and precipitation, and the composition, dynamics, transport, mixing, and chemistry of the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL). We encourage contributions that include modeling studies, tropospheric profiling and the integration or transferability of in situ measurements (ground-based, balloon, UAV) and remote-sensing data. The session will also address ocean–atmosphere interface processes, including exchanges and fluxes of moisture, heat, momentum, and chemical constituents. Contributions examining interactions and feedback mechanisms among these processes across spatial and temporal scales are particularly welcome.
